Kim So Hyun is confirmed to be starring in a new webtoon-based drama titled Is It a Coincidence?
Director Song Hyun Wook, who is known for dramas, such as The King's Affection, Beauty Inside and Another Oh Hae Young, will step in to this drama.
Launching Soompi, Tuesday (27/9/2022), Kim So Hyun's agency, IEUM HASHTAG announced that the actress was confirmed to star in the new drama Is It a Coincidence?
The drama is based on the original webtoon of the same name which marked the beginning of the heyday of Naver Webtoon.
Is It a Coincidence? tells the story of Lee Hong Joo, played by Kim So Hyun, who reunites with his first love after 10 years.
Lee Hong Joo is an animation producer who is afraid of love because of painful memories from a previous relationship.
Kim So Hyun, who has had success in The Tale of Nokdu, Love Alarm, River Where the Moon Rises, and more is expected to make another transformation as an ordinary office worker.
Drama Is It a Coincidence? will start shooting at the end of 2022.
