MONSTA X's Hyungwon and Lee Shin Young will be joining EXO's Xiumin in a new drama titled Sajangdol Mart, airing in 2023.
Quoting Soompi, Tuesday (27/9/2022), The Great Show's production house revealed that Lee Shin Young, Xiumin, MONSTA X's Hyungwon, Choi Jung Woon, Choi Won Myeong, Lee Sae On and Kim Shana will star in the drama Sajangdol Mart which is featured drama.
Sajangdol Mart tells of the idol group Thunder Boys disbanding due to an unexpected incident which then runs a supermarket.
Lee Shin Young plays the leader of the Thunder Boys, Choi Ho Rang who somehow becomes the owner of a supermarket. While Choi Ho Rang has a rigid personality, but he is an honest person and started his business after acquiring Boram Mart.
Xiumin will play the main dancer of Thunder Boys and the cashier of Boram Mart Shin Tae Ho who is very meticulous in counting money. Shin Tae Ho is a selfish person, but he is very wise.
Hyungwon will play rapper Jo Yi Joon. At Boram Mart, he will be in charge of the seafood section.
Next, Choi Jung Woon plays the part-time employee Oh Ye Rim at Boram Mart, Choi Won Myeong plays Thunder Boys vocalist Eun Young Min who is in charge of the fresh meat section of Boram Mart.
