SM Entertainment immediately flooded with criticism after one of the staff made a mistake by sharing the news of the SHINee Key Comeback on Aespa's official account.
Yesterday, Tuesday (9/8), at midnight KST it was revealed that SHINee's Key will soon be releasing his newest solo album. This of course was immediately greeted enthusiastically by fans considering Key's last comeback with "Bad Love" last year.
Unfortunately, an error occurred in Key's comeback announcement. SM Entertainment staff incorrectly disclosed one of the news about Key's comeback on Aespa's Twitter account.
At first, the staff shared the first teaser of Key's "Gasoline" album. The teaser announces that Key will release his new album on August 30.

Next, the staff shared Korean media statements regarding Key's new album pre-order. KEY SHINee's second album 'Gasonline' will be released on 8/30! Presale for this album starts today, starting his solo comeback after 11 months! said the announcement while linking one of the Korean media articles.
Unfortunately, in the announcement of the PO for the album Key, it was uploaded via Aespa's Twitter. The staff only realized their mistake and uploaded it on SHINee's Twitter account after 30 minutes had passed.

This SM staff error immediately flooded the spotlight and was discussed in the online community. The figure that was criticized was SM Entertainment because it was considered to allow a staff to hold many official artist accounts at once. SM is also considered to have to take strict action to fire because similar mistakes often occur. Even so, many criticized the staff for not paying attention to their work properly.
"Didn't they fire staff like that? There were a lot of mistakes during aespa promotions too," one Knetz exclaimed. "I really hope they keep their minds sharp while they work," said another. "There is one person who is revealed who manages all kekeke accounts," said another. "That promotional content is not even uploaded to the SHINee account until later," said another.
"When did they not make a mistake," said another. "They never change," explained another. "Well, I feel sorry for this staff member if only one person manages all social media accounts," another admitted. "SM should choose more people to manage social media accounts," said another. "They really need to re-examine their work," said another. (wk/alpha)
