On Thursday (11/8), LOONA greeted their fans in Chicago as the latest stop in the group's ongoing first world tour. In the middle of the show, it was revealed that LOONA member Kim Lip was feeling unwell. Finally, he sat for the rest of the evening.
Because they were unable to perform to their full potential, the concert organizers gave a surprising new statement. They revealed that Kim Lip will not be participating in the next LOONA program "Meet & Greet" after the show.
LOONA member Kim Lip is not feeling at his best and sadly will not be able to participate in the Meet & Greet in Chicago on August 11. For the sake of health and his well-being, he rested after the show so he could fully recover and meet Orbit again in good health," said event organizer Team MyMusic Taste.
On the sidelines of the announcement, fans also leaked the real reason regarding Kim Lip's health. According to fans on Twitter, the uncomfortable situation occurred because the attitude of the fans who attended the event behaved impolitely to him.
Fans claimed that during Kim Lip's turn to speak in front of fans, some of them continued to shout the name of another LOONA member, Vivi. As a result, Kim Lip's words frustrated him because they couldn't be heard clearly, causing the idol to cry. For this incident, fans also voiced their criticism of the fans who were at the concert.
