MBC is increasingly promoting ahead of the premiere of "Gold Spoon". One of them is by releasing a photo of BTOB's Sungjae who plays Lee Seung Cheon.
"Gold Spoon" is a drama based on the webtoon of the same name. The story focuses on a boy from a poor family who uses a mysterious golden spoon to trade fate with his friend from a rich family.
Sungjae plays Lee Seung Cheon, who suddenly turns into the son of a rich man after eating with a magic golden spoon. Because of that, his life changed drastically.
The newly released stills show the contrasting life that Lee Seung Cheon lives. In one photo, he looks like an ordinary student while doing a part-time job at a convenience store. This portrait shows his life as a child from a poor family.
The second photo is decisive in the change in his fate. In this photo, he is seen holding a magic golden spoon which is being sold at a street stall. After using this spoon, his life drastically changed to that of a child from a wealthy family.
The last portrait shows Lee Seung Cheon's life after his fate changed. He wore a plaid suit and sat in front of a luxurious table with a serious expression.
In particular, Lee Seung Cheon captivated viewers with his sharp gaze and handsome appearance. That's why viewers can anticipate the drastic changes they will experience after using the golden spoon.
Depicting characters with contrasting lives is something that is difficult to do, but Sungjae is able to act very well. The production team stated, "Yook Sungjae has a special power to attract people."
"With his charm, he will portray the diverse character of Lee Seung Cheon in great depth. Please stay here to see what he will do to get out of his poor life and how his struggles will be portrayed," concluded the production team.
