After being criticized by netizens, GIRL CRUSH turned out to be desperate to allow underage members born in 2005 to join the stage by bringing a provocative concept.
GIRL CRUSH is a girl group under the care of HW Entertainment. Having previously been blasphemed for recruiting Hayun, who is still a minor, to appear with a group with a provocative concept.
Debuted on April 8, 2019, GIRL CRUSH was founded by Jeong Bomi as a dance group. Despite carrying a sexy and provocative appearance, this girl group is praised for all the members are mature and have creative control over their choreography, outfits and concepts.
Recently, GIRL CRUSH has infuriated Korean netizens for letting Hayun, the former BABA and Blaze join, even though she was born in 2005. To overcome the controversy, the agency declared Hayun a trainee and would only officially join after turning 18 years old.
However, GIRL CRUSH seems to have been desperate to bring Hayun to appear on stage several times. This is certainly the opposite of the agency's previous statement.
Even though there was Hayun who was still a minor on stage, they even performed explicit songs like "WAP". Not only presenting dance acts that are too sensual, they also add sighs to the audio accompanying the performance.
Since GIRL CRUSH had control over the group's production, fans expressed concern. The reason is that with Hayun appearing on stage where the group has full control over the content, it means that they are not forced by the agency.
The news about Hayun still performing with GIRL CRUSH despite being a minor quickly caught the attention of K-POP fans. Many blasphemes were leveled against them, but most were saddened by this situation. What's more, they have been warned before and don't seem to give up on netizen criticism.
When re-uploading photos of Hayun appearing, netizens had to cover their bodies with black stickers. This was done to appreciate it because it is still a minor.
