V is often asked what they were talking about at the time. In his recent interview with Weverse Magazine, the owner of the name Kim Taehyung was asked the same thing again.
The action of V BTS (Bangtan Boys) acting with Olivia Rodrigo at the 2022 Grammy Awards is one of the moments that people never get tired of talking about until now. Many were curious about what they were talking about at that time.
Previously, V was asked by fans via Weverse, what they were talking about at that time. In his recent interview with Weverse Magazine, the owner of the name Kim Taehyung was asked the same thing again.
"I get asked a lot about it," replied V before explaining what exactly he talked about with the young and talented singer.
"To be honest I was very nervous there because of the (famous) suit choreography. A light whisper in his ear might have been enough in that situation, but I guess I just said 'blah blah blah' without saying anything meaningful," he said.
Prior to the appearance of "Butter," V thought he didn't need to say anything, just put on a reassuring facial expression.
"I thought I just needed to show it on my face or set the scene, and thought I didn't need to say anything in particular, so I didn't say anything special," said the idol.
"Olivia Rodrigo also knows what I'm going to do. For a 10 or 15 second take, we don't need to say anything special and still make it look fun."
Performances for the Grammys took place under various pressing circumstances and progressed rapidly. V was asked how he ended up acting with Olivia Rodrigo.
"Ah, that's a suggestion from the people at the Grammys that was agreed on the same day as the show. So I don't know who will be sitting next to me," said V.
In such a situation, V must of course arrange everything to give a convincing performance. V apparently learned from some of the films he watched.
"I keep thinking about the movie 'Now You See Me.' The way the show on stage unfolds also reminds me of Jason Bourne, but to talk to Olivia Rodridgo, I think it's really important to capture the feeling of the way they trick people when they talk to them on 'Now You See Me,'" he said.
"I thought maybe I should talk to him casually, and it would be like magic if I could steal his card without him noticing while we were talking, and what would happen if we locked eyes in a fun way. Stuff like that," continued V. (wk/chus)
