TXT has again climbed into the Billboard 200. This makes them the second male K-pop artist to ever chart an album in the Top 60 for five weeks.
Launch Soompi, Wednesday (22/6/2022) After more than a month of release, minisode 2: Thursday's Child TXT has climbed back into the top 45 of the Billboard 200!
In five consecutive weeks, TXT was able to maintain a position on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart (the most popular chart in the United States). TXT's mini album rose 16 places to No. 43 made minisode 2: Thursday's Child the first K-pop album of 2022 to spend five weeks in the top 60.
With this record, TXT managed to establish as the second male K-pop artist in history behind BTS. The feat also made it the third overall (male and female group) to ever chart an album in the Billboard 200 top 60 for five weeks, after BTS and BLACKPINK.
Minisode 2: Thursday's Child also continued to rank high on several other Billboard charts this week. Apart from staying strong at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, TXT's mini-album also occupied No.6 on the Top Album Sales chart and the Current Most Popular Album Sales chart.
