Kim Hye Yoon recently had a photo shoot for @star1 magazine. In the accompanying interview, she also talked about her role in the film "The Girl on a Bulldozer".
In this film, Kim Hye Yoon plays a 19-year-old girl named Gu Hye Young who always causes trouble and is not afraid of anyone or anything. One day, his father gets into a mysterious accident and falls into a coma, leaving him alone with his sister.
Gu Hye Young then investigates her father's accident and starts taking care of her family. He finally discovers the truth behind his father's accident and "blows up" anger at the world.
During the interview, Kim Hye Yoon admitted that she was very grateful that this film was screened at the 26th Busan International Film Festival. He said, "It feels very new. Seeing my face on the big screen is an unusual feeling."
However, he admitted that at first he was worried about the audience's reaction. "I'm half excited and half worried about what the general public will think of this film," he said.
"The Girl on a Bulldozer" itself has finished filming in winter 2020. Then spent a long time in post-production before finally being released in South Korean theaters last April. That's why Kim Hye Yoon felt that her face was quite young in the film.
He explained, "Because it's been a while since we finished filming for the film, I looked very young there. While watching the film again, I kept thinking, 'So that's how I interpreted this subject matter at the time' and I felt a lot of new emotions. "
Kim Hye Yoon then talked about her love for acting as well as her reluctance to try other professions. He said, "(I) never (thought of another job), not even once."
"When I'm hooked on something, I'm the type of person who only thinks about that one thing. In this case, I think my personality is similar to Hye Young in the film," he concluded.
