The Kep1er comeback that fans have been waiting for has finally launched its newest work. Through a showcase event held at Yes24 Live Hall, Gucheonmyeon-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, Kep1er unveiled the stage and music video for their new song "Up!" for the first time.
Kep1er made a comeback after 5 months with the release of the mini-album vol.2 "DOUBLAST" via online music sites on June 20. "DOUBLAST" is an album containing the adventure story of 9 girls who took a strong first step with their debut song "WA DA DA". Kep1er plans to invite listeners to "Kep1er Island" and tell the story of the brilliant music of 9 colors through 5 songs.
"We really worked hard on this album to repay you for giving us so much love during 'WA DA DA'. I'm nervous and excited because this is a comeback after 6 months. I hope you enjoy our performance today, "said the leader Choi Yujin.
"I was so nervous this time that I couldn't sleep. It's good to be with fans. Please like the 'Up!' performance that we prepared this time," said Kang Yeseo.
Song title "Up!" is a song that enhances the refreshing summer atmosphere by combining energetic vocals. Followed by funny lyrics over a combination of rhythmic punk house genre and soulful house genre.
"If we show charisma with 'WA DA DA', this time, our goal is to be young, fresh and happy. We will happily enjoy our activities," said Choi Yujin.

In addition, this new album is filled with 5 songs consisting of various musical styles. From the title track "LE VOYA9E" which describes the journey that 9 members will take together. Then the song "Attention" which describes the mysterious joy between the two outside of friends.
"Good Night" is a song about the cute appearance of a girl who falls asleep when she feels sad to say goodbye. Then "Rewind" which contains a warm promise to be with fans who always cheer for Kep1er.
Kep1er are expected to show their digestibility with various genres such as punk house, minimal pop, moombahton, dance pop, medium tempo R&B. At the same time showing the synergy of high-quality music with energetic vocals, rhythmic rap, catchy performances and a fresh young identity.
"I want to surpass 100 million views with the music video 'Up!', and I want to win first place on music shows. Please love 'Up!'," said Xiaoting. Mashiro promised, if the music video reaches 30 million views, Kep1er will show fans a special choreography video.
