This was confirmed by Kang Daniel's agency, KONNECT Entertainment. Therefore, the singer from South Korea was forced to be absent from the Music Bank 2022 event.
According to KONNECT Entertainment's statement, as quoted from PinkVilla, Friday (3/6/2022), Kang Daniel got the Herniated Disc diagnosis when he visited the hospital on June 2, 2022, after completing his gig.
However, surprisingly, Kang Daniel received a test result that was diagnosed with a Lumbar Disc Hernia in the cartilage. So, the hospital asked him to stop temporarily from various activities.
"And as a result of the test together with the opinion of specialists, that Kang Daniel needs adequate rest," wrote ONNECT Entertainment.
Meanwhile, KONNECT Entertainment also stated that it would rearrange Kang Daniel's schedule in the future, and it would be shared soon after his condition recovered later.
