Recently, news emerged that BTS (Bangtan Boys) will collaborate with singer, songwriter, and record producer from the United States, Charlie Puth. Regarding the news, it seems that all signs point to "YES!", especially with the answer from Charlie Puth himself.
Charlie Puth and BTS's "relationship" has been going on for quite some time. Maknae Jungkook has been a fan of Charlie Puth's vocals for years, and the feelings are certainly mutual where they are fans of each other.
Charlie Puth and BTS have technically collaborated before when they performed at the 2018 MGA (MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards) on November 6, 2018, to sing Charlie Puth's "We Don't Talk Anymore", previously covered by Jungkook. Now, an official collaboration is possible.
In an interview at the concert produced by Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM iHeartRadio Wango Tango, Charlie Puth was asked about a possible collaboration with BTS. "Fans think you're collaborating with BTS. Fans are going crazy..." said the interviewer.
"I heard it too!" cried Charlie Puth. He confirmed that he was aware of the pre-existing rumors about a collaboration with BTS. However, he surprised the interviewers by implying that the collaboration already exists and has no confirmed release date.
"And everyone in my camp doesn't know when it's coming out. We don't officially know when it's released," said Charlie Puth. The interviewers were even more surprised when the singer revealed that they actually knew the release date. It was just decided. "We did, but it was more like, we just found out," he said.
So, interviewers are curious if this is official confirmation that the Charlie Puth x BTS collab is real. So he tried to find out more details, but Charlie Puth suddenly fell silent. "Okay! So, there's a collaboration with... There's a collaboration... We believe in that." the interviewer said.
