Stealing Hearts With A Simple But Meaningful Story, 'My Liberation Notes' Is Still A Talk Even When It's Over. Among Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, And Lee El, Who Is The Most Memorable?
"My Liberation Notes" ended last weekend, Sunday (29/5). However, the drama, starring Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, Lee El and Son Seok Gu, is still ranked 2nd in the ranks of Indonesian Netflix television shows as of Thursday (2/6).
Centered on the Yeom brothers, "My Liberation Notes" tells the story of Yeom Mi Jeong (Kim Ji Won), Yeom Chang Hee (Lee Min Ki) and Yeom Ki Jeong (Lee El) where they yearn for freedom from an ordinary life. The Yeom brothers who are bored with the place where they live, Sanpo, suddenly experience a change since the appearance of Tuan Gu (Son Seok Gu) in their lives.
During 16 episodes, "My Liberation Notes" may bring a simple story but it seems to be able to touch the sympathy of viewers. Each of the Yeom brothers and Master Gu can finally break free at the end of the story, although what they get is not exactly the same.
After this drama ended, a chat appeared on online forums about who the real main character of "My Liberation Notes" was. Although it consists of a number of main players, usually the story of one of them is more dominant. For this reason, Korean netizens discussed who actually stood out the most in the drama.
"Aren't they all main characters?" said one netizen. "They are all main characters. For the first few episodes it focuses on Mi Jeong. And in the last few episodes it focuses on Chang Hee," added another netizen.
Some netizens believe that Mi Jeonga is the main character, judging by the title and what she does. What's more, his story with the Gu Master and the drastic change in him seemed destined for the main character.
"From the title you can already tell the main character is Mi Jeong. But I like Changhee's storyline too," another netizen commented. "I think Mi Jeong and Mr. Gu are the main characters," said another.
On the other hand, there are those who think that Chang Hee is the main character in "My Liberation Notes. Of the three of them, other netizens think that Chang Hee's story is the most memorable.
