Aespa Lacks Content, SM Allegedly Follows BLACKPINK's Mysterious Route

Netizens Complain Aespa Doesn't Have Much Content To Greet Fans. They Are Also Concerned About New Releases That Are Planned To Be Released Following American Time.

Netizens complain about AESPA which lacks content. SM Entertainment is also suspected of following the BLACKPINK (Black Pink) route to seem mysterious and exclusive.

Recently a netizen (OP) complained about aespa not having much content to greet fans. The OP also takes issue with the new releases that are planned to be released following American time.

"They still have to strengthen the core of Korean fans, but they don't release self-made content during the hiatus. SM seems to have a fight with V Live so they can't broadcast there either. They also don't do live broadcasts on Instagram," wrote the OP.

Aiming at the US music market, they released the song at 1 p.m. KST and held a showcase in Japan. What were the team in charge of aespa thinking? It felt like they threw away all their Korean fans.

Many netizens also feel the same way. Not a few accused SM Entertainment of following YG Entertainment's strategy in promoting BLACKPINK by minimizing content.

"I hesitated for a moment whether to become their fan or not, but their fans really seem too quiet," commented netizen. "To be honest, why don't they record self-made content? It's not that they don't have time to do it," added another netizen.

"Please SM let them have more interactions with fans. They are very charming and they are not shy with the camera. Karina especially will do well," wrote netizens.

"Maybe they are following BLACKPINK's mysterious route? So whatever content they release will invite greater enthusiasm," said another. "SM seems to be following YG's way," concluded another.

Meanwhile, AESPA will comeback with their second mini album "GIRLS" on July 8. The four-member girl group is expected to enliven the summer and penetrate the United States music industry. (wk/chus)
