3 Korean Dramas Ever Starred Kim Woo Bin

The man who was born July 16, 1989 was born with the name Kim Hyun Joong. He is a South Korean actor and model. Kim Woo Bin started his career as a model and made his acting debut in the television drama White Christmas. Then, he gained attention through his role in the series A Gentleman's Dignity (2012).


Woo Bin also starred in the box office hits Friend: The Great Legacy (2013), The Con Artists (2014) and Twenty (2015). In May 2017, he developed a nasopharynx that affected the head and neck. Woo Bin decided to take a 2 year hiatus to focus on his treatment.


His first public appearance after the hiatus was at the film awards ceremony, the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards which was held on November 21, 2019. He is preparing to make a comeback by starring in Netflix films and series in late 2021, one of which is the drama Our Blues. This school-themed romantic comedy drama is written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Kang Shin-hyo. In this drama Kim Woo Bin plays the role of Park Heung-soo. It is said that Go Nam-soon (Lee Jeong-suk) and Park Heung-soo knew each other and were even close friends in junior high school. They are known as children who are great at fighting. However, there was an accident that was unintentional by Nam-soon. The accident causes Heung-soo to have to give up his dream of being a soccer player because his leg is badly injured.

Uncontrollably Fond is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 in the summer of 2016 to be precise on July 6, 2016, starring Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy. The storyline is written by Lee Kyung-hee. The drama, which aired 20 episodes, was directed by Park Hyun-suk.


Carrying the romance genre, this drama tells the complicated love story between Shin Joon-young (Kim Woo Bin) and No Eul (Bae Suzy). The two were close friends in high school, but what happened to No Eul's father caused them to separate. After a few years, they meet again. Joon-young has become a famous celebrity (actor and singer) who has a lot of fans. While Noh Eul became the production staff for the documentary.


Shin Joon-young and No Eul have intertwined pasts. Joon-young's biological father is a prosecutor who handled the hit-and-run case of No Eul's father. However, the perpetrator of the case was released because the prosecutor had been bribed. This is also one of the conflicts in their love. Then, Joon-young is diagnosed with cancer which leaves him with only three months to live. It turns out that Joon-young's living conditions match the topic of the documentary No Eul.


In the drama, out of guilt, before Joon-young died he tried to reveal the truth about No Eul's father's hit-and-run case. He managed to get Jeong-eun, the real culprit, to admit his actions. Although Joon-young's life is full of pain and suffering, he also has fond memories of the people he cares about.
