Seo In Guk will exude a new charm through his new drama "Minamdang". The handsome actor will become a scheming shaman full of mystery.
Launching Soompi, Monday (16/5/2022) based on the popular web novel of the same title, “Minamdang” is a comedy-mystery about Nam Han Joon, a baksumuduang (male shaman) who used to be a profiler. He meets Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo), a detective in the violent crimes unit who is passionate about justice.
Seo In Guk will take on the role of Nam Han Joo who has extraordinary wealth and is good at negotiating. The stills released by KBS2 show Seo In Guk making a fashionable transformation into Nam Han Joo, wearing a trendy coat and after jazz maroon in another photo.
Nam Han Joo's sharp gaze can also be seen which reflects his past career as a profiler. In the portrait, Nam Han Joo shows a cold aura that seems to be deep in thought.
The poster also shows Seo In Guk holding the knot used during Gut (a ritual performed by a Korean shaman). Based on this portrait, it is certain that Seo In Guk will play a skilled profiler with sharp analytical skills as well as a cunning shaman.
The production team of "Minamdang" also revealed that Seo In Guk can play the character of Nam Han Joo very well and charmingly.
