BTS fans seem to be increasingly proud of their idol's work. The reason is, BTS has just made history at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. They won three Billboard Music Awards 2022 awards and broke Destiny's Child's record to become the group with the most BBMA wins.
Reporting from Soompi, Monday (16/5/2022), on May 15 local time, the 2022 Billboard Music Awards revealed this year's award winners, and BTS won three of the six awards they were nominated for.
At this year's ceremony, BTS won Top Duo/Group, Top Selling Artist, and Best Selling Song for their hit "Butter", marking their second year winning all three awards. It also marked BTS' third Top Duo/Group win overall at the Billboard Music Awards, their first time winning the award in 2019.
BTS, who has won trophies at every Billboard Music Awards since 2017, has now surpassed Destiny's Child, becoming the group to win the most Billboard Music Awards in history. The group currently has 12 Billboard Music Award wins, breaking Destiny's Child's previous record of 11 wins, which is 17 years unbeaten.
BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is a boy band from South Korea. This group consists of seven people, including RM, J-Hope, SUGA, Jin, V, Jungkook, and Jimin.
