Recently, Choi Sung Eun underwent an interview in the promotional series for the Netflix series "The Sound of Magic". On this occasion, he revealed his difficulties while filming.

Based on the popular webtoon "Annarasumanara", "The Sound of Magic" is a musical about a mysterious magician named Lee Eul (Ji Chang Wook). He then appears before Yoon Ah Yi (Choi Sung Eun), a girl who has lost her dream, and Na Il Deung (Hwang In Yeop), a boy who is forced to dream.

Due to the drama's concept, Choi Sung Eun had to go through a lot of effort to prepare for her role. He said, "First of all, I listen to music most of the time. But to get closer to the characters, I listen to a lot of music that can immerse children's voices or emotions."

Choi Sung Eun then said that he often visits recording studios to familiarize himself with music. He explained, "I'm usually not good at singing and wasn't used to this genre, so I worked hard for it."

"In particular, it took a lot of time to express my emotions through singing. I thought a lot about how to express them. Fortunately, the staff around me helped me a lot," added the 1996-born actress.

Finally, Choi Sung Eun spoke of his sadness after the production of this drama ended as well as commented on the global success of "The Sound of Magic". He said, "It was weird seeing the final edit of the drama. I feel bitter about having to say goodbye to the series after finishing it."

"It's very difficult to find musical dramas in Korea, so I'm not sure how the domestic and overseas audience will react. Fortunately, it went very well and I'm grateful for the success of this drama," he concluded.

Meanwhile, "The Sound of Magic" received rave reviews from local and overseas viewers. According to a FlixPatrol report, the drama is ranked fourth in Netflix's top drama lineup worldwide. (wk/eval)
