According to an insider's statement, Kangta and Jung Yoo Mi have started breaking news of their upcoming wedding to their close family and acquaintances.
South Korean celebrity weddings seem to be happening again in 2022. On Friday (27/5), Sports Kyunghyang media exclusively reported that Kangta and Jung Yoo Mi will soon get married next fall.
Sports Kyunghyang in the news said, "Kangta and Jung Yumi are getting married this fall. They have been dating for more than two years and have developed mutual trust."
According to an insider's statement, Kangta and Jung Yoo Mi have started breaking news of their upcoming marriage to close family and acquaintances, after dating for more than 2 years.
Kangta's agency SM Entertainment and Jung Yoo Mi's Mystic Story also immediately opened up about this report saying, "After hearing the report, we checked the facts with him. We will announce our position once the exact details are known."
Kangta and Jung Yoo Mi were first reported to be dating in August 2019. At that time they were said to have been dating for 2 years. However, this report was denied by the agency which stated that the two were just close friends.
Kangta and Jung Yoo Mi's dating news resurfaced in February 2020. This news appeared because the two were said to be on a radio broadcast together, but after that they were seen walking together.
According to eyewitnesses at the time, the two were seen having fun, which sparked rumors of them dating. This time, SM Entertainment confirmed by saying, "The two are currently happy in a relationship."
Meanwhile, Jung Yoo Mi also confirmed her dating relationship with Kangta via Instagram by writing, "I'm carefully starting a serious meeting with someone who has become a good friend and my senior."
"Because I thought carefully before starting to open my heart, I think conveying my feelings directly to you guys even just through this post, is the right thing to do. I am cautious and worried about my personal relationship, not just my job, which is officially shared in the news, but I don't want to deny something that is my decision and choice," added Jung Yoo Mi.
