The K-pop group SEVENTEEN is being discussed on Twitter. The reason is, they will release their 4th album titled 'Face the Sun' in May.
Quoted by billboards, Friday (22/4/2022), K-pop group SEVENTEEN revealed that their fourth LP (long playing record), entitled Face the Sun, will be released on May 27, 2022.
This was announced by SEVENTEEN's management company, Pledis Entertainment on Thursday (21/4/2022) which confirmed in March that the group was preparing to return with a full studio album in May.
“Darl+ing” will be SEVENTEEN's first single in English. Their debut single, which falls on April 15, 2022, is a thank you to their fans.
Speaking with Billboard during the press conference, SEVENTEEN member Joshua said about the single.
“We always want to thank our global CARAT for all the love they give us and love our songs even though they don't understand Korean. our language, but we hope that this album will be a gift to CARAT, to show how grateful we are for their love and support."
CARAT is the name of SEVENTEEN's fandom which was inaugurated on February 14, 2016 through voting. In this case, SEVENTEEN is considered a diamond or diamonds, while fans are considered as CARATs that make diamonds shine.
For information, Face the Sun is a continuation of the 2019 K-pop group album, An Ode. Since then, SEVENTEEN has released their ninth mini album Attacca and achieved group chart success in the United States.
This EP (extended play/mini album) saw SEVENTEEN reach number 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart with sales of 25,000 copies in the US in the week ending October 28. Then for Face the Sun pre-order starting Friday 22 April.
