Our Blues is a new omnibus-style drama that tells the story of the sweet, sour, and bitter lives of people on Jeju Island. This drama stars Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, Han Ji Min, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Hye Ja, Uhm Jung Hwa, and many more.
Reporting from Soompi, Sunday (4/24/2022), this is the leak of the drama Our Blues. Shin Min Ah (Min Sun Ah) is a wife and mother who struggles with depression. Meanwhile, Lee Byung Hun (Lee Dong Suk) is a seller of various goods using his truck who was born and raised in Jeju and has feelings for him. However, after seven years together, some bad things happened to their friendship.
At that time Lee Dong Suk kissed Min Sun Ah and realized that he did not have the same feelings. Lee Dong suk became heartbroken and angry as he said, "Can someone like me not like you?".
In the newly released trailer of the episode, Min Sun Ah and Lee Dong Suk meet for the first time in seven years after he went to Jeju Island. They then felt awkward as if shrouded in cold air.
Photos of them from seven years ago reveal how close and happy these two lovebirds were in the past. It was very clear that Min Sun Ah had a radiant smile on her face when the two of them were karaoke. It made him even more heartbroken that he now felt the throes of depression.
The producers of Our Blues commented, "The story is about how Dong Suk and Sun Ah met seven years ago when they were happy, to Dong Suk's memories with Sun Ah which have become emotional scars for him, to their reunion after seven years. All these moments will be depicted in the drama. Not only that, this drama will also depict Sun Ah's arrival in Jeju, which will shake the entire Pureung Village."
A scriptwriter for Our Blues said that he had to wait ten years to create an omnibus drama, “First of all I wanted to try the omnibus style in drama series for more than ten years, I'm a bit sick and tired of seeing dramas that only tell about male and female leads, said No Hee-Kyung.
The drama will air on April 9 on Neflix and has 20 episodes.
