Reported by Soompi on Monday (4/11/2022), the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2022 held an event in Santa Monica. BTS also managed to take home the prize for Favorite Music Group for the third year in a row. Marking their sixth trophy from the Kids' Choice Awards.
With this latest achievement, BTS has now extended their own Guinness World Record for “Most Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards won by a music group.”
Last year, BTS earned the title by equaling Fifth Harmony with five wins each. But, now they broke it by winning the sixth award.
Although BTS did not attend the ceremony in person, they received the award through a pre-recorded speech in English.
“Thank you Kids' Choice Awards and ARMY for the Favorite Music Group award. We are honored and very grateful to receive this award," said RM.
“This award is for you, ARMY. We were touched by your love and joy," Jimin said.
Suga then promised that he would never stop trying his best and show fans with great performances.
