V BTS Reaches 19 Million Likes on Instagram, Becomes First Asian in History

The member of the world's top boy group Kim Taehyung or who has the stage name V proved himself to be the 'king of social media.' This can be seen from his dominance on Instagram only after opening his first public account on December 6, 2021 or less than four months.

Reporting from the Allkpop page, Friday (25/3/2022) V's upload about his favorite pet dog, Yeontan, who is famous among ARMYs or BTS fans, is the first and only post by an Asian person to surpass 19 million likes on Instagram.

He got this record after attracting nearly 40 million followers from his 3 month old account.
In the world, V became the 10th person to surpass this record and join other famous celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and Kylie Jenner.

Alfee Official recently also announced that V became the #1 Korean Mega Influencer on Instagram for the 3rd week of March.

V amassed more than 35 million likes in one week with just three posts he uploaded on his official Instagram @thv. Followed by BLACKPINK members, Jennie and Jisoo.
