Kpop Groups Dominate the World Albums Chart, BLACKPINK to NCT Top Billboard!

Billboard has published the World Albums Chart for the week of March 26, 2022. Several idol groups from South Korea, from BTS, NCT, BLACKPINK, ITZY, TXT, TWICE, and ENHYPEN topped Billboard's World Albums Chart.


BTS alone managed to sweep five of the top six spots on the chart, landing a total of six albums in the top 15.

Their 2017 mini album “Love Yourself: Her” rose back up to number 2 in its 154th week on the chart. This was followed by “BE” at number 3, “Map of the Soul: Persona” at number 4, “Map of the Soul: 7” at number 5, and “Love Yourself: Tear” at number 6. Finally, “Love Yourself : Answer” came in at number 14 for the week.

Meanwhile, launching Soompi, Thursday (24/3/2022), NCT 127's 2021 studio album "Sticker" rose to number 8 for 26 consecutive weeks on the chart. Meanwhile, NCT's latest studio album "Universe" stayed at number 11 in its 13th week.

For the girl group category, BLACKPINK's 2020 album “THE ALBUM” maintained its position at number 9 in its 76th week on the chart. On the other hand, ITZY's first studio album “CRAZY IN LOVE” rose again to number 11 in the 24th week.

In addition to the top five idol groups, TXT's 2021 studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” also re-entered the chart at number 12 for its 41st week on the chart, followed by “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” from TWICE at number 13 and ENHYPEN “DIMENSI: ANSWER” at number 15. /celebrties.id
