J-Hope tested positive for Covid-19 after previously experiencing a sore throat. This bad news was revealed by Big Hit Music.

Reported by Soompi, Thursday (24/3/2022), Big Hit Music made a statement in English that was quite surprising to BTS fans.

"Hello. This is Big Hit Music. We would like to provide you with some information regarding BTS member J-Hope who was diagnosed with Covid-19.”

“J-Hope showed symptoms of a sore throat and visited the hospital for a PCR test on Wednesday, March 23, and he was diagnosed with COVID-19 this morning.”

“J-Hope has completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and is currently not showing any outstanding symptoms other than a sore throat. He is self-quarantining and undergoing treatment at home.”

"Except for J-Hope, the BTS members are not experiencing any specific symptoms at this time. J-Hope plans to take part in activities that are scheduled to take place next month after the home treatment is complete.”
