While attending the 'Thirty Nine' press conference on Wednesday (16/1), Jeon Mi Do talked about interesting things about her character named Jung Chan Young. Like what?

Jeon Mi Do attended the press conference "Thirty Nine" which was held on Wednesday (16/2) today. On that occasion, he talked about various interesting things about his role as Jung Chan Young.

"Thirty Nine" tells the story of three 39-year-old women who have been friends since high school. This drama will tell their beautiful and emotional story when facing unexpected circumstances.

Jeon Mi Do's character Jung Chan Young is described as a woman who wants to become an actress but ends up as an acting teacher. He often made his friends angry because he often said cruel words. Even though he looks hard to approach, Jung Chan Young is someone who is more sincere than anyone.

During the press conference, Jeon Mi Do revealed that Jung Chan Young is very different from the character Chae Song Hwa she played in the drama "Hospital Playlist". That's why he focused on acting according to the script.

He said, "The character is completely different from the role I played before (in 'Hospital Playlist'). I didn't try to act differently, but focused more on Chan Young exactly as it was written in the script."

Jeon Mi Do also discussed Jung Chan Young's romance with Kim Jin Seok, played by Lee Moo Saeng. He commented, "It's heartbreaking, stupid, upsetting and it's a relationship that's hard to define in one word."

Besides Jeon Mi Do, director Kim Sang Ho also revealed the interesting side of this drama. He shared, "I think 39 is an age full of tension and imminent danger."

"It seems too early to achieve something and too late to start anew. I tried to show you how to pass the turning point (at that age) through this drama," he concluded.

Meanwhile, "Thirty Nine" is prepared to replace the "Artificial City" broadcast slot on JTBC's Wednesday - Thursday night. If it goes according to plan, the drama, which also stars Yeon Woo Jin, will start airing on Wednesday (16/2) tonight. (wk/eval)
