Two people who inspired the plot of 'Our Beloved Summer' suddenly appeared in the latest episode of 'You Quiz on the Block'. Take a peek at their appearance below.
The SBS drama "Our Beloved Summer" has successfully captured the hearts of viewers because it presents an interesting storyline, which is about two top and bottom students who fall in love after filming a documentary together.
The plot is apparently not just the author's imagination, because he created it based on a true story. The actual main characters of the documentary are Eom Kyu Min and Kim Do Yoon who appeared in the latest episode of "You Quiz on the Block".
Seven years ago, Eom Kyu Min and Kim Do Yoon appeared in the EBS documentary "No.1 student & Bottom-ranked student". At that time they were 17 years old, and now they are 24 years old.
Kim Do Yoon who was introduced as the top ranked student, said that he is in the third year of Medical University. Meanwhile, Eom Kyu Min, who appeared as the student with the worst grades in school, revealed that he was currently serving in the military.
Apart from that, the two also talked about some behind-the-scenes stories while filming documentaries in the past. There were many hilarious moments, so MC Yoo Jae Seok and Lee Mal Nyeon kept laughing out loud.
Meanwhile, the scriptwriter of "Our Beloved Summer" also briefly revealed the origin of the inspiration for Choi Ung's character. If the main plot is based on the story of Eom Kyu Min and Kim Do Yoon, Choi Ung's character is inspired by Choi Woo Shik himself.
He said, "While creating the character Choi Ung, I happened to see Choi Woo Shik on the tvN variety show 'Summer Vacation' and it really helped me create the character. For example, I included insomniac Choi Woo Shik from the program."
On the other hand, "Our Beloved Summer" has aired its last episode on January 25th. This drama brings a happy ending where Choi Ung and Kook Yeon Seo (Kim Da Mi) finally get married and shoot a new documentary.
The drama slot itself will be replaced with "Business Proposal" starring Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyo Seop. The plan, this drama will start airing on February 28. (wk/eval)
