Ahead of his debut, NMIXX has released a photo of the individual concept for the members. But the photo of the new JYP Entertainment Girl concept is criticized like a low budget.

In 2021, JYP Entertainment announced that they would fight for a new girl group and slowly revealed all members. Agency announced that a group called NMIXX, and the date of his debut was set on February 22.
