While attending the 'Forecasting Love and Weather' press conference on Friday (11/2), Park Min Young revealed that this drama was one of his most difficult projects.

On Friday (11/2), JTBC held a press conference for its new drama entitled "Forecasting Love and Weather". The event was attended by director Cha Young Hoon and the four main actors, namely Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yoon Park and Girl's Day's Yura.

"Forecasting Love and Weather" is a drama about the passionate but unpredictable work and love lives of people working at the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea's national weather forecasting service.

This topic is relatively new to the K-Drama industry, which is why Park Min Young found it quite difficult to prepare for her role. Park Min Young said, "The topic of the Korean Meteorological Administration is still quite new. But I immediately regretted it."

He continued, "Not much is known about them, so I had to build my character by watching documentaries. It was fun but also felt like a big homework."

"I bravely jumped into this project, and it became one of the most difficult projects I've ever done. So it was more rewarding and also fun," he added.

A similar difficulty was also felt by the director. Because he had to do research for a long time before finally executing this drama.

He explained, "I heard that writer Sun Young has been preparing for this project for a long time. I researched the data for about two years and spent eight months with the staff at the Meteorological Agency."

"What I felt while talking to the writer was that the similarity between weather and life is that it is impossible to know the future," the director added.

On that occasion, Park Min Young also revealed the difference between "Forecasting Love and Weather" with the drama about office workers that he had previously starred in. This time, he wanted to highlight the difference through his character's fashion style.

"This is my third office drama. I used to wear clothes that accentuated femininity, but this time I work as a civil servant and I want to look as normal as possible. So this time I'm wearing a shirt and trousers," he concluded.

Meanwhile, "Forecasting Love And Weather" is prepared to replace the "Snowdrop" broadcast slot on Saturday - Sunday night JTBC. The plan, this drama will start airing on Saturday (12/2) tomorrow. (wk/eval)
