Recently, Jeon Somi leaked her favorite snack so far. However, one of them reminds him of his extended family's hometown.
During this time, Jeon Somi has always been famous and mastered her music and fashion. However, recently he shared his favorite food which shows his inclination towards having these light snacks.
In the latest episode of the YouTube channel Snacked on the First We Feast, Jeon Somi tries out all her favorite snacks, including both the famous and the underground. All snacks carry a degree of emotional weight to Jeon Somi, but one in particular brings her back to Canada, where most of her extended family lives.
It turns out that the snack in question is potato chips flavored with Lay's soy sauce. Many people may have never tried this, as it is not widely available outside of Canada, and Jeon Somi laments this fact in the video.
"My roots are here," said Jeon Somi, who shared her favorite chips. Jeon Somi almost got goosebumps when she ate her favorite chips, then mentioned that chips weren't the only thing that made her feel Canadian. Another thing that reminded him of his Canadianness was the simple two-letter word he called, "Eh".
As is known, Jeon Somi himself is one of the K-Pop idols of Korean-Canadian descent. So it's no wonder that he looks like he's feeling nostalgic about his favorite Canadian food habits.
"It just came and went. Like, it came out of nowhere," said Jeon Somi, speaking quickly about it. Not only that, he also tasted cheese-flavored chips which is also his favorite.
"I have a fellow K-Pop idol friend and I asked him to try these chips. And they immediately went crazy with these chips," said Jeon Somi later.
Meanwhile, Jeon Somi recently released her first solo album "XOXO" which was a hit in the market. Now, Jeon Somi is busy with other activities as a soloist. (wk/taki)
