In one scene in 'All of Us Are Dead', Cho Yi Hyun managed to make everyone on set laugh and the director was shocked because he acted like a shaman.
"All of Us Are Dead" has stolen the hearts of viewers, not only about the plot that is in the spotlight but also from the player's perspective. One of the actresses who is increasingly shining is Cho Yi Hyun, who previously acted in "Hospital Playlist" and "School 2021".
In "All of Us Are Dead", Cho Yi Hyun played the class president Choi Nam Ra who was cold and secretly liked by Lee Soo Hyeok (Lomon). At a press conference held some time ago, he shared a scene where he acted like a shaman amidst the chaos caused by zombies.
"We will chase zombies in the music room, using musical instruments. I am in charge of playing the drums. But I look like Nam Ra today by making a middle part in my hair. At that time I didn't tie my hair and put the drum on the floor and beat it, " explained Cho Yi Hyun in a press conference video on the PICKCON YouTube channel which was uploaded on Wednesday (2/2).
But after filming the intense scene, it was as if Cho Yi Hyun had just returned to reality. Because he didn't remember how he could beat the drum so hard.
"Yeah, I was playing drums without realizing it. After filming, for a moment, I was like, 'What is this?' Where am I? What do we do now? And everyone burst out laughing," continued Cho Yi Hyun.
Not only inviting laughter from friends on set, this moment apparently also made director Lee Jae Kyu surprised. Even Cho Yi Hyun was called a shaman who was doing an exorcism.
"Then the director asked, 'Do you perform an exorcism like a witch doctor?' I remember putting it all down and playing the drums louder."
The director who was also present at the press conference confirmed that it was true that Cho Yi Hyun was acting like a shaman possessed. Even the scene was successful in making the director surprised.
"There is a scene where they play drums for a living. Zombies are sensitive to sound. I was very surprised that Cho Yi Hyun beat the drum like a shaman," said director Lee Jae Kyu.
In response, Cho Yi Hyun confessed that he would do his best in everything. One of them is the totality in hitting the drums like in the music room scene in "All of Us Are Dead".
