Sad news has returned to the world of South Korean entertainment. On Wednesday (5/1), actress Kim Mi Soo who is currently greeting the audience through the JTBC drama "Snowdrop" was reported to have died.
According to an exclusive report from OSEN, Kim Mi Soo has passed away at the very young age of 31. The cause of the death of the beautiful actress has not yet been revealed. His funeral hall has been set up at the Sungsim Funeral Home.
The news of Kim Mi Soo's death has been confirmed by her agency Poongpyeong Entertainment. The agency said that Kim Mi Soo suddenly died today and asked people to refrain from making baseless rumors.
"Actress Kim Mi-soo suddenly left us on January 5. The family left behind is currently in a very heartbreaking situation due to a sudden tragedy," the agency said.
"We sincerely ask that you refrain from reporting rumors or speculative reports so that the bereaved family, who are shocked and grieving, can pay their respects to the deceased," the agency added.
"The funeral will be held privately and discreetly according to the wishes of the bereaved family. Please pray for the well-being of the deceased, and once again send our deepest condolences to the deceased on his last journey," the agency added.
In "Snowdrop", Kim Mi Soo plays the role of Yeo Jung Min who is one of the residents of Hosu's female dorm. He often spends time in the dormitory reading books. But the problem is, Yeo Jung Min often reads forbidden books.
Yeo Jung Min's character is also one of Eun Young Ro's best friends (Jisoo BLACK PINK). He helps Eun Young Ro hide Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In), a guy who is eventually discovered to be a North Korean spy.
