Lee Se Young Started Acting Career As A Child Actress, Any Regrets?

'The Red Sleeve' is Lee Se Young's fifth historical drama. The beautiful actress then talked about the special attributes of the sageuk genre and the importance of being an actor.

Lee Se Young is currently enjoying the success of the drama "The Red Sleeve". The beautiful actress born in 1992 recently did a photo shoot and interview with Vogue Korea magazine.

"The Red Sleeve" is Lee Se Young's fifth historical drama. "I chose to participate in dramas that I like. I never really thought about whether the genre was suitable for me or not," said Lee Se Young.

Lee Se Young talked about the special attributes of the sageuk genre. "This allows new interpretations. There are also certain visual angles that are pleasing to the eye when it comes to historical genres. Some examples are the image of the sky and the ground, the color combinations displayed in hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) and more," added Lee Se Young.

Lee Se Young then revealed the importance of being an actor. Lee Se Young shared, "An actor acts and conveys a story written by a writer. I think the most important aspect about being an actor is being great at acting. If actors don't continue to work on themselves, they will be left behind."

Lee Se Young also revealed her hobbies. Lee Se Young said, "I joined the soccer team three years ago, but I'm still really bad at it. I try to score goals with my chest. I think it's good when people try to find something fun to do after a long day at work.

Lee Se Young was then asked about possible regrets for starting her acting career too early. "I don't regret it. If I want to try something else now, I can still do it too," said Lee Se Young.

Lee Se Young added, "I think it's a relief to know that I started doing something I like early because I don't have any other talents. I used to think that it would be better if I could be an actress without being a celebrity."

"But I still think it's a blessing to be able to continue working as an actress. I know that failure exists, but I think it's all part of the process. I love what I do, and want to get better at it. I also think a lot about my fans. They are like family to me," concluded Lee Se Young. (wk/charity)
