Kim Mi Soo Passes Away, The Father's Post Gets Attention
Mr. Kim, the father of the late Kim Mi Soo, usually posts photos of his daughter's activities on Instagram to support him. Some of the posts he uploaded successfully stole the attention.

The death of actress Kim Mi Soo has shocked the Korean entertainment world. Following the news of the death of the star of the drama "Snowdrop", the father's post was in the spotlight.

Mr. Kim, Kim Mi Soo's father, usually posts photos of his daughter's activities on Instagram to support her. In 2019, when Kim Mi Soo made her small screen debut with JTBC's "Drama Festa: Human Luwak", she also wrote a post to promote the drama.

In February 2019, Mr. Kim posted, "My daughter Mi Soo will appear as Cha Yeon Ji, the younger sister of the main character Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee), in the tvN drama 'Hi Bye, Mama.' He often acts in independent films or one-act dramas, but this is his first time participating in a mini-series."

"The first episode will be broadcast at 9 pm. Please look forward to it," added Kim Mi Soo's father. The attached photo shows Kim Mi Soo smiling brightly next to the script "Hi Bye, Mama!" cause great sadness.

Kim Mi Soo's father also posted photos and articles about his daughter during the interview after "Hi Bye, Mama!" end. "Please look forward to it well," he expressed his affection for his daughter.

His last post was uploaded in June last year to announce news of Kim Mi Soo's appearance in the KBS drama "Into the Ring." He wrote, "It seems he has a pretty important role this time. Please watch this drama, okay."

Kim Mi Soo died on January 5, 2022. A morgue was set up on the 5th floor of the Taeneung Sungsim Funeral Service Hall in Gongneung-dong, Seoul. The funeral entourage will depart on January 7th.

Kim Mi Soo graduated from Korea National University of the Arts having gained a fair amount of acting experience in the theater and independent films. In “Snowdrop,” he played Yeo Jung Min, a 4th year student at Hosu Women's University majoring in history.

"Snowdrop" was fully produced and filming was completed before broadcast. The production team will discuss whether or not to broadcast footage of Kim Mi Soo with the bereaved family. (wk/chus)
