On January 12, 2022, ONEUS's agency RBW Entertainment announced a statement detailing the reasons for Leedo and Xion's hiatus.
"Leedo was diagnosed with skin inflammation on the soles of his feet, and he was advised to be careful with his daily activities," said a representative from RBW Entertainment regarding Leedo ONEUS's current health condition, which added that the idol will be on hiatus for one week.
In addition, RBW Entertainment also explained Xion's condition, "Xion suffered a slight injury to his knee while descending the stairs and is currently wearing knee protectors. On January 5th, medical professionals advised that he should relax for a week or two, so he rested for a while so that he would not injure his knee again.”
ONEUS itself last released a collaboration song with their agency 'brother', the band ONEWE with the song "Stay" which was released on December 21, 2021.
