ENHYPEN Chills Chills During Latest Fansign, Belift Lab Reaps Criticism

Seeing photos and videos from fansign events circulating on social media, fans became worried because the members seemed to be shivering because of the cold weather. The agency also drew criticism.

Belift Lab drew criticism after ENHYPEN was seen shivering with cold during their recent fansign event. The agency was asked to treat the members better.

Recently on January 16, ENHYPEN held their first fansign event for their recently released album “DIMENSION: ANSWER,” which is a repackage of their first studio album “DIMENSION: DILEMMA.”

Just like any other fansign event, ENHYPEN took to the stage to give each fan their signed album, as well as interacting personally with them while following the health guidelines for COVID-19.

ENHYPEN fans who attended the fansign event took hundreds of group photos and videos to upload to their social media and share their experiences with other fans who were unable to attend the event.

However, when photos and videos from the fansign event circulated on social media, fans became worried after seeing the members shivering from the cold weather. It looks like Sunoo, Jay and Jungwon were the most affected by the freezing temperatures at that time.

The members were also seen apologizing for trying to move around constantly to try and generate more body heat, while each only holding onto one hot pack to keep their hands warm.

Seeing this, many fans criticized the group's label, Belift Lab. The agency was criticized for not taking good care of their artist, and allowed the members to attend the event wearing only light clothing.

At the time of the event, the temperature in Seoul was around -5 degrees celsius, and Belift Lab did not provide any heaters or blankets to the members, sparking criticism from fans.

This is not the first time Belift Lab has drawn criticism for allegedly not maintaining ENHYPEN properly. During the group's first anniversary in November, where they held a live broadcast via Naver V Live, Belift Lab was reported to have turned off the heater during the broadcast and did not provide the members with hot packs either.

In addition, Belift Lab also provided a cake ENHYPEN that can be purchased from the HYBE museum, HYBE Insight, instead of a cake to celebrate their debut anniversary. Fans also demanded that the agency give better treatment to the group, especially as they are getting busier with their schedules. (wk/chus)
