YG Entertainment has again announced its artist who recently showed positive results after being tested for COVID-19.
Previously on January 23, iKON's Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, and Donghyuk were first reported to be positive for COVID-19 by the agency. Then followed by similar news from WINNER's Lee Seung Hoon on January 24.
The next day, January 25, 2022, iKON's Junhoe and Yoshi TREASURE were also reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 after being tested.
Today, Thursday (27/01) YG Entertainment announced that 4 artists under their auspices also contracted COVID-19 through the following statement,
"This is YG Entertainment.
iKON's Jung Chanwoo along with Choi Hyun Suk, Junkyu, and TREASURE's Mashiho were also classified with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
They have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations, and all members from each group including the diagnosed members are currently in good health with no conspicuous symptoms.
TREASURE has completed all preparations for their comeback including album recording, music video filming, and choreography practice while strictly following disease prevention guidelines.
As new cases of COVID-19 are rising sharply not only domestically but also worldwide, we prioritize the safety of our artists and staff more than ever.
We will continue to consult with disease control authorities to provide broad support and strong preventive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19."
