BTS, TXT and NCT 127 Enter the Top 10 Largest Physical Album Sales in America in 2021
Three K-Pop boy groups from South Korea, BTS, TXT and NCT 127 managed to set an extraordinary record in the United States.

According to MRC Data, formerly known as Nielsen Music, physical album sales in the United States have increased for the first time in 17 years.

There were a total of 40.59 million CDs sold in the United States in 2021, an increase of 1.1% from 2020 sales data.

In addition to popular singers such as Adele and Taylor Swift, several K-Pop groups are also the biggest contributors to physical album sales in the United States. In particular, TXT, NCT 127 and BTS made it into the top 10 rankings.

TXT's full album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE became the album of the highest-selling male group and artist in the United States in 2021. The album was ranked fifth with total sales reaching 215 thousand copies.

NCT 127's full album Sticker was ranked second as the best-selling male group and artist album in the United States last year, and ranked 7th in the overall rankings and sold 211 thousand albums.

Even though BTS didn't release an album in 2021, their albums titled Map of the Soul: 7 and BE from 2020 managed to rank 8th and 10th with sales figures of 210 thousand copies and 187 thousand copies, respectively.
