BTS Jin Pajama Merchandise Sold Hard Even Though Criticized Too Expensive
Within minutes after HYBE Labels started selling them online, they became unavailable for purchase not only in Korea, but also in the United States and Japan.

The pajama and pillow sets from the boy group BTS (Bangtan Boys) have recently become the talk of the town because they are considered too expensive. However, Jin's merchandise set has sold out despite fan protests regarding the price.

Earlier this month, BTS' management agency, HYBE Labels, introduced their first "ARTIST-MADE COLLECTION" to fans. Their first "ARTIST-MADE COLLECTION" is an evening collection created by Jin. He designed two different pajamas, and a pillow for people with neck strain.

On merchandise site HYBE Labels, the pajama sets are listed as 119,000 won (approximately IDR 1.42 million), and the pillows for 69,000 won (approximately IDR 823 thousand). This price was protested by fans because it was considered expensive.

After the price of Jin's collection was announced, fans flooded social media platforms and online communities, talking about their prices. Many of them said they were disappointed by the high price, and angrily asked HYBE Label to revise it.

Even Jin thought the price was too high. He wrote on the official fan community. "Even though I asked them to use good material for the pajamas, the price was too... I was surprised too," he wrote in a post on Weverse.

Despite this, Jin's pajama and pillow sets quickly sold out. Within minutes after HYBE Labels started selling them online, they became unavailable for purchase not only in Korea, but also in the United States and Japan.

In Korea and Japan, both pajama and pillow sets are out of stock in less than half an hour. In the United States, it only takes a minute for a pajama set to go on sale, and a minute and a half for a pillow. (wk/goddess)
