Kang Daniel recently made fans worried because he was seen running backstage after the 31st Seoul Music Awards 2022 ended, so he clarified what happened.
Not only looking forward to the announcement of the winners of the 31st Seoul Music Awards 2022, viewers are also anticipating the musicians who will appear on stage as performers. Kang Daniel had the opportunity to fill the event. However, it seems that he had a funny incident.
On Sunday (23/1), the annual Seoul Music Awards ceremony which took place at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul went smoothly. On the day of the event, many famous K-pop groups and soloists including Kang Daniel, aespa, STAYC, The Boyz, ENHYPEN, OH MY GIRL, NCT DREAM, NCT 127 and many more graced the event with their presence.
Apart from performing and receiving awards, they all sat on chairs in front of the stage. However, at the end of the awards ceremony Kang Daniel was caught on camera running backstage as soon as the emcee finished the event.
Out of curiosity why Kang Daniel ran so fast, fans wondered if something was up with him. Not long after the event ended, Kang Daniel also gave his clarification through the official online fan community explaining what happened to them.
"Geez, DANITY (fandom name). I'm sorry for leaving like that without saying goodbye to you. When I performed earlier, I lost my voice because I sang and danced with too much energy," wrote Kang Daniel.
"So, I drank so much water after that. It felt more like too much. I had held it in for an hour. Maybe there was a bit of an incident. I really need it (the bathroom)," Kang Daniel explained.
"I just took off my gig clothes and I'm relieved to know there's nothing in my pants if you understand what I mean. My stylist is also relieved. From now on, I have to control the amount of water I have to drink," he continued later.
Then, Kang Daniel shared what he thought was funny from the previous situation. Kang Daniel laughingly stated, "At that time when I was running, the guards at the show and my staff were shocked and worried that they were following me. They were like, 'Is there a problem, Daniel?'."
Judging from his conversations with fans, Kang Daniel tried to explain that he had been holding his pee for an hour and ran because he wanted to go to the bathroom. This is what makes fans and even the staff there excited about why Kang Daniel ran.
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel will be participating with the Wanna One members in their first comeback again. Wanna One, who disbanded in 2019, is back together by releasing the song "Beautiful Part.3" in the near future. (wk/taki)
