Wake One Entertainment, the agency that handles Kep1er, announced the health conditions of the two girl group members.
Today, December 14, 2021, Wake One Entertainment released a statement regarding Xiaoting and Mashiro Kep1er who reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
“On December 5, a staff member working with Kep1er was notified that they had tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, all affiliated staff as well as all members of Kep1er undergo a COVID-19 test voluntarily. At that time, all the staff and artists received negative test results.Hopefully Xiaoting and Mashiro recover soon and can resume their activities with Kep1er. (www.kpopchart.net)
However, to prevent further spread of COVID-19, we have since implemented mandatory PCR tests on a regular basis. During one of the recent mandatory PCR tests, Xiaoting and Mashiro received a positive test result. All other Kep1er members tested negative.
Currently, the two members are not experiencing any symptoms such as fever or difficulty breathing. All members and staff have tested negative as well. As of now, the group has suspended all activities and is following all necessary precautions.
