On December 6th, Xdinary Heroes officially debuted with the lead single 'Happy Death Day' which made a new breakthrough and became a hot topic because of the members' abilities.
After giving fans curiosity through the released teaser, finally the newcomer group Xdinary Heroes officially debuted on December 6. Gradually, the members of this new band came together to attend a press conference to express their feelings towards their debut.
Xdinary Heroes is known to have held an online press conference to look forward to their debut. In addition to talking about debut preparations, Xdinary Heroes gave an explanation of how each member felt after they wanted to debut. "We are very happy to be making our dream debut. We ask for your warm support and encouragement for Xdinary Heroes who are taking their first steps in our dream," said Xdinary Heroes.
As is known, each new group certainly has an explanation of the meaning of the song they use. Extraordinary Heroes which is the full name of Xdinary Heroes has a message that anyone can be a hero.
"It contains the aspiration to bring music by gathering the heroes hidden within the extraordinary," explained Xdinary Heroes. This boy group itself consists of six members namely Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon.
It was revealed that Gunil was in the position of drummer, Jungsu and O.de as keyboardists, Gaon as lead guitarists. Then there is Jun Han in the position of rhythm guitarist while Jooyeon the maknae or the youngest member is in the position of bass guitar where all the Xdinary Heroes members both get a part from singing to rapping.
"Happy Death Day" is the name of the album as well as the main single of Xdinary Heroes which is about modern emo style. The song satirizes the psychology of people with dualities who are invited to a birthday party, smiling at them and changing their expressions when they turn around.
It is known that Jungsu and Gaon participated in writing and composing the lyrics. With the release of the new Xdinary Heroes album as well as the music video for "Happy Death Day", netizens praised how the music genre of Xdinary Heroes brought something refreshing to the entertainment industry. Many even say that this music genre is reminiscent of Paramore's songs to Eminem.
