aespa recently visited New York, USA to perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Not only that, the 4-member girl group also had the opportunity to tour New York, which was immortalized through a video shared by Vogue on their official YouTube channel.
The video opens with their breakfast event in Soho where Ningning honestly admits that they just woke up. The members then shared their views and admiration for the Big Apple city they were visiting.
Karina says that she grew up watching New York from television shows and movies, and she always wanted to visit it. In particular, Karina had watched "Gossip Girl", and New York was exactly what she saw in the series.
The Empire State Building became their next destination, where the members had fun taking pictures with the statues. The four of them then took the elevator to the top of the building and couldn't stop admiring the view of New York City from the top of the ESB building.
"We've only been here two days but so far, the craziest thing is definitely this scene. We didn't expect it to be this extraordinary. We're still in shock at this point," Giselle explained. They complete the experience by singing the song "Empire State of Mind".
They pointed out the rehearsal venue for the parade the night before and Giselle said, "It was so cold but so much fun. Even though it wasn't a real event but there were some people watching and seeing people come to see us meant a lot because we haven't had that opportunity yet (performing in front of viewer)."
Turning to shopping, Giselle said that she didn't have a particular style, but generally her clothes were dark in color. Karina admits that she likes simple clothes like black jeans and white shirts. Their outing ended with a hot dog in the afternoon. (wk/goddess)
