Sunye, a former member of Wonder Girls, has managed to rock the stage once again in the program 'Mom Is An Idol'. Is it true that someone cried after watching his performance?
Former Wonder Girls member Sunye has rocked the stage again with her performance. After years of not appearing on television, the owner of the real name Min Sunye became a member of the "Mom Is An Idol" program.
In the first episode that aired on Friday (11/12), Sunye enlivened the stage with her performance. The other three members such as Kahi of After School and Park Jung Ah also greeted viewers with their performances and revealed their reasons for wanting to appear on television once again.
"Mom Is An Idol" itself is a new reality show program that follows the journey of a former K-Pop star who is now a mother. Later, the members will form a temporary idol group for the benefit of the event.
Their first mission was to prepare a performance to test vocal and dance to measure each other's skills and talents. Whoever with the highest score will be the center candidate for their girl group.
Sunye chose to sing Younha's song "Waiting" to test her singing ability, instantly the diva's vocals managed to amaze the audience and viewers even though she had not performed for a long time. As for dance, he chose the song BTS (Bangtan Boys) entitled "Butter" and managed to amaze the audience once again.
Sunye's performance with the uplifting "Butter" successfully captivated viewers. After showing his never-fading charm, Sunye got the highest score in the vocal and dance tests. With these results, he became a strong candidate to be crowned center.
"In Canada, we have to make lunchboxes. We pack lunches for the kids and spend time with the youngest. We have normal days. There is enthusiasm and concern. I also thought, can I do this?" said Sunye after performing.
Since getting married in 2013, Sunye left the Wonder Girls and lives with her husband in Canada. Currently, he has three children. After living a normal life, who would have thought he could still capture the hearts of viewers and judges. Even one of the panelists of TO1's Woonggi cried because he was finally able to see one of the Wonder Girls members in person.
Meanwhile, there are other members who will join "Mom Is An Idol" to form a unique girl group. This reality show made by tvN airs every Friday at 20.40 local time. (wk/inta)
