On Tuesday (14/12), Shin Hyun Bin tested positive for COVID-19. The star of the drama "Hospital Playlist" adds to the long list of South Korean artists infected with the Corona virus in recent weeks.
This news was announced directly by Shin Hyun Bin's agency, Yooborn Company. The agency stated that Shin Hyun Bin was diagnosed with COVID-19 despite having received two doses of the vaccine.
The agency began, "Hello, this is Yooborn Company. On December 14 (Tuesday), Yooborn Company actress Shin Hyun Bin tested positive for COVID-19."
"Shin Hyun Bin has completed his vaccination and received a second dose in September. He is participating in scheduled activities while undergoing regular COVID-19 tests," the agency said.
The agency continued, "However, on December 13 (Monday), he was informed that he had been in close contact with a COVID-19 patient. He immediately underwent a PCR test and after being classified as someone to be closely monitored, he underwent another test. He then received a positive result on December 14."
However, the agency explained that Shin Hyun Bin did not experience serious health problems. They also promised to do their best so that Shin Hyun Bin could recover soon.
The agency stated, "Currently, Shin Hyun Bin is not experiencing any health problems. We are canceling all scheduled activities and taking all necessary actions according to the instructions of the government health authorities."
"We sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people. We will do everything we can for the health and safety of actors and staff and do our best to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Thank you," concluded the agency.
