2PM's Lee Junho won the Best Acting Award for the Miniseries category at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards tonight, Thursday (12/30/2021). He expressed his sincere feelings about the award.
This award was won by Junho for his role in the sageuk drama "The Red Sleeve." In the drama, the 1990-born actor presented an unparalleled performance as Yi San or King Jeongjo.
Through this work, Lee Junho managed to solidify his position as a trustworthy actor. His solid acting skills are also increasingly recognized.
For this award, Junho said, "It's really like a dream to receive the Best Acting Award. Actually, before the Best Acting Award, I was also a human, so I wanted something more because of my good performance in the drama. I think I should continue to introspect is it good enough to receive this award."
Junho continued, "The first time I received an award other than singer was when I received the Excellence Award for KBS's 'Chief Kim'. I didn't think so, but nevertheless, you guys have worked really hard."
"It seems like a very pleasant time to be able to recognize your abilities. I'm happy to only be named with the seniors who were nominated together. I want to sincerely thank everyone here," he added.
