MBC's flagship drama, "The Red Sleeve" is just getting more and more interesting to watch. The love story between Yi San (Junho 2PM) and Sung Deok Im (Lee Se Young) always shows a new chapter in each episode.
Telling the record of the palace romance, "The Red Sleeve" will retell the love affair between King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty and the royal concubine Uibin Sung. Before being appointed King Jeongjo, Yi San grew up with an upbringing to put the country above personal interests. Meanwhile, the free-spirited Sung Deok Im wants to make her own life choices instead of just being one of the many women of the king.
Previously, the broadcast ended with such a hangover because King Yeongjo (Lee Deok Hwa) accused Yi San of treason. He even scared everyone by threatening to draw his sword in front of Yi San.
In the newly uploaded teaser, Sung Deok Im shows her determination to protect the crown prince. Surprisingly, Sung Deok Im meets Queen Hong (Kang Mal Geum) who is Yi San's mother. As is known, Sung Deok Im and her brother Sung Sik (Yang Byeong Yeol) were saved by Queen Hong during their childhood after their parents were accused of treason.
Breaking the silence of the night, Sung Deok Im said something to Queen Hong. Even unexpectedly, the palace maid showed a tattoo mark on her back close to her shoulder blade. It is still a mystery why there is such a tattoo on Sung Deok Im's body as well as the motive for coming to see Queen Hong at night.
Shortly after the teaser was released, impatient comments came from viewers. After what Sung Deok Im did for Yi San, viewers are impressed and hope that they will have a wonderful time together soon.
