Having fans let alone sasaengs certainly makes an idol uncomfortable as Jang Won Young IVE feels when imitating the character as a big fan.
Having a lot of fans is no doubt for Jang Won Young IVE. This one idol always brings a positive aura to his fans so that he gets a lot of love.
In the recent YouTube video titled "Idol Human Theater" shared on KBS Kpop channel, Ahn Yujin and Wonyoung were guests to act out an acting stage for the fan meeting event. Here, Ahn Yujin served as an idol, while Wonyoung imitated a fan who attended the event.
Jang Won Young who got the role interacted with Yujin as a fan who had too much imagination. What is meant is how Jang Won Young asks questions and comments that limit the behavior of sasaengs or stalkers.
"Don't tell me you forgot who I am?" said Jang Won Young to deepen his role. "No, I know you! I even remember your name! Vicky…?" Ahn Yujin said. "With V or B?" asked Jang Won Young back. "V," continued Ahn Yujin. "You're right! Gosh, for a moment, I really thought you forgot about me," replied Jang Won Young.
Through the dialogue, it is suspected that Jan Won Young convinced viewers by imitating how exaggerated a reality would be if it happened. With "Idol Human Theatre" claiming no script was involved, K-Pop fans believe that Jang Won Young's way may actually be based on personal experience.
The role play ends cutely with Yujin running away from Wonyoung who claims the two have known each other for five years and "returned" which some fans also believe calls them stalkers. Therefore, fans know how Jang Won Young's character deepening reveals this.
Apart from him as an actor, fans sympathize with the idol because they have to put up with fans doing this to him and other idols in real life. At least the way idols describe sasaengs is starting to become more visible and needs attention.
"However, this is a common behavior among fans. The sad part is the fans who do this never realize what they are doing is ridiculous," commented the fan. "Wonyoung is adorable and all ... But this gives me goosebumps. Being a fan of K-Pop idols myself, I know he's not exaggerating and fans like that do exist," wrote another comment. (wk/taki)
