Lizzy finally opened up about the drunk driving case that happened to her.
At midnight on September 14, the former After School member held a live broadcast through his Instagram account.
During the broadcast he said, “I'm sorry for letting you down. I wanted to write an apology, but I don't think it will be enough."
He then talked about his past self criticizing people who drive when drunk and finally becoming someone who drives when drunk. He expressed his depression by saying, “Now, my life is over.”
Lizzy then discussed the negative comments made to her, “The other drivers weren't seriously hurt, but the article came out like that. People basically just told me to die. In life, there are always times when people experience difficulties. In this situation, there were even comments telling me to make extreme decisions. I did something very wrong, and from the perspective of knowing that I was wrong, I'm very sorry."
In May 2021, Lizzy crashed into a taxi car on the Youngdong Bridge in Gangnam-gu. At that time the level of alcohol concentration in his blood was enough to revoke his driver's license.
The first trial for Lizzy's drunk driving case will be held on September 27. (www.kpopchart.net)
