The Seoul Forest Jazz Festival will hold its fifth season live on October 16-17, 2021. This festival has been held since 2017 by bringing together leading jazz and pop musicians.
Launching from the Koreaherald, Tuesday (7/9/2021), Page Turner, who is the organizer of the event, announced the festival schedule. Last year, this festival was conducted in a hybrid manner.
Carrying the Silent Picnic theme, this event opens a quota of 100 people to be able to attend directly in the event. The committee provided a wireless headset to enjoy the music.
The audience is spread out in the park, freeing them to enjoy music while maintaining physical distance. In addition, this event is also broadcast online.
South Korea is still at war with Covid-19, which has entered its fourth wave. Thus, this kind of outdoor music festival signaled their return by releasing festival dates.
The 18th Jarasum Jazz Festival, the largest jazz festival in Korea will also be held on 9-11 October on Jara Island, Gyeonggi Province. Last year this event was held online.
